I’m running multiple infoscreens using BirdDog Play devices and frequently need to switch NDI sources remotely — especially in production or event environments where opening the control panel for each device always is inpractical.

To solve this, I built a small mobile app that lets you remotely control:

BirdDog Play

NDI Studio Monitor

from iOS or Android.

What it does:

Discover NDI receivers on the network

Switch NDI sources remotely

Control fullscreen output

Manage playback without touching the device

Works great for multi-screen / digital signage setups

It has been very helpful in mosque/event production setups and multi-room environments where quick switching is required.

If anyone here is using BirdDog Play or Studio Monitor for monitoring, confidence feeds, or infoscreens — this might save you some time.
