I’d love to see a built-in perspective (corner) warp option for layers in vMix, similar to the corner positioning tool in DaVinci Resolve.

Basically, the ability to grab the four corners of a layer and move them independently so you can map video or graphics onto angled surfaces, screens, walls, etc.

This comes up a lot for things like fake screens, set extensions, AR-style graphics, or just making something sit correctly in perspective. Right now there’s no simple way to do this directly on an input.

Currently I achieve this by using a Python script I wrote to generate a UV map, and then a VirtualSet uses that map to do the perspective warping.

It works so vMix already has the technology to do this, it just needs a user interface.

What I’m hoping for
A native perspective warp transform that:
- Lets you drag the four corners of a layer
- Can be adjusted numerically if needed
- Doesn’t require using a VirtualSet

Also would be nice if I could create polygon masks right in the software instead of having to generate an alpha mask png and use that
