Have recently purchased a Rodecaster Video, as it now has NDI capabilities

I can get NDI OUT from RCV into VMIX, but I cant seem to get VMIX to RCV via NDI to work.

the RCV sees the NDI Feed under the Network settings (both PC & RCV connected to the same switch via Ethernet), and appears to allow it to be accepted. However, when i look at the RCV it says Unsupported, and with
Format being N/A, Video Codec SHQ, Video Sampling unknown, Video Bit Depth Unknown, Alpha Channel Absent, PAR Unknown, (plus a load of other unknowns), Audio Codec PCM, Sample Rate 48.0 khz, Audio Channels 2, Network Interface RJ45
If i change it to RCV NDI, i get the following
Format 1920x1080p, Frame Rate 25, Format YUV, Video Codec H264 etc

So it is seeing the NDI Feed, but appears to be incompatable.

I have tried changing NDI Out on VMIX to Alpha Channel None & Premultiplied & Straight, with no success.

Any other suggestions?

Also, has anyone managed to get VMIX Graphics (from GT Titler) to appear with transparent backgrounds into RCV, either as an HDMI Input or NDI? I know you should be able to Greenscreen them out, but my graphics have many colours, so does not really work well with greenscreen

Thanks

Lee

It's very likely Full NDI or NDI HB versus NDI HX.

Unfortunately the rodecaster Video doesn't Support Full NDI and vmix only supports outputting Full NDI.

Does the RØDECaster Video Support Full NDI?
