Building a new Threadripper system for vMix End 2025

Hi everyone,
I’m planning a new high-end system for vMix and would like to get some feedback before I order everything. My main goal is long-term stability, multiple PCIe capture cards, and solid 4K performance (a few 4K inputs and two 4K outputs).
Here’s the current hardware plan:
CPU: AMD Ryzen Threadripper 9960X
Mainboard: ASUS Pro WS TRX50-SAGE WIFI
GPU: Gigabyte AORUS GeForce RTX 5080 MASTER 16G
RAM: Kingston Fury Beast DDR5 – 64 GB (2×32 GB), 6000 MHz
CPU Cooler: Noctua NH-D9 TR5-SP6 4U (height limit in the case is 145 mm, so this was basically the only reasonable sTR5 air-cooler option)
Power Supply: be quiet! Straight Power 12 Platinum – 1000 W
Capture Cards (PCIe): Blackmagic DeckLink 8K Pro Mini & 2x Blackmagic DeckLink Quad 2
The board layout should give me enough space for the 5080 (3.5-slot) plus these three PCIe cards without blocking anything.
Before I lock this in: Does this build make sense for vMix? Anything you would change? CPU, GPU, cooling, PSU size, RAM amount — or anything else I should consider?
Thanks in advance for any input!
