Just installed the new vMix 29.0.0.31 Beta and the latest BMD drivers (Desktop Video 15.1) and noticed the behaviour described in the topic subject.
The output (and input) card is BMD Micro (M.2).
This issue is repeatable.
My guess is that vMix gives not enough time to the I/O card to be initalized correctly before it goes ahead with other things.

Hi,
Moved this to Hardware Compatibility as we cannot replicate this and Decklink API behavior has not changed in vMix 29. My guess is some kind of issue with that particular device or system.
Regards,

Really, really weird. Today vMix output worked right away, without the need to quit and re-run vMix.. (I did not yet update to the latest beta).
