Hi All,

I already have the JSON data set up and the data comes in fine.

I have also set up a Trigger "Action" in the Bit Focus Companion app to use a vMix input/title as an overlay on top of another input and it toggles the overlay on and off in vMix which is perfect.

But, additionally I would like that overlay to turn on when the data variable changes; so for example if the data variable on my title is 0:00 but then suddenly new data comes in to change that variable to 2:00 I want the overlay to be turned on when it changes.

I tried to use the "Event" tab to make a "When Variable Changes" event, but it asks me which variable I want it to watch for, and when I go to find the variables in the drop down list there aren't any that say JSON data and instead I can only choose the title itself and not the data I have assigned to it. There are several options for the title, including some of the following: "Full Title" "GUID" "Remaining ss:mm" etc etc. but none of those are working, when the data variable changes it doesn't trigger the overlay.

What am I missing here? Is there a "Condition" setting I am missing? I was reading online about JSON options under the internal tab of the Conditions dropdown but they are not showing up.

I basically want the overlay toggle to happen when the variable changes.

Can anyone help me with this?
