I will be reaching out to ProPresenter support as well, but wanted to ask if anyone else has experienced this issue.

I recently replaced the Mac at my church with a new M4 model. I reinstalled ProPresenter 7 and migrated the database. I rebuilt the two NDI outputs that I use with vMix. All of that works fine.

However, every Sunday morning I notice that the NDI inputs in vMix will not connect. I always make sure that ProPresenter is up and running before I open vMix. Fortunately, all I have to do is edit the input, click "Change", choose the NDI output again and save the changes to that input. This happens every time and I do not touch the NDI output settings in ProPresenter.

Has anyone experienced this? I set an IP reservation on the Mac so that it would keep the same IP, yet this is still happening. It's almost like ProPresenter is somehow sending these NDI outputs a different way every time it opens. I've even seen this happen if during service ProPresenter has to be closed and then re-opened. I have to edit the NDI inputs in vMix again, click change, and choose the correct output.

Thank you for your advice. I will continue to troubleshoot on my end as well.

Just a FYI: this issue did not happen with the old Mac before this one.

Does it also come back when you right click in that input and select the same NDI source again.

Yes it does. That's when I edit the input, click change, and choose the same NDI output (with the same name and number).

I have also reached out to Propresenter support to see what they say.

I mean w/o the change. Just on the input small preview, right click and select one of the available NDI feeds.

I have to click change on the input otherwise it's black. These are the only two NDI inputs I'm using.

Propresenter support recommended that I install the NDI tools on the Mac. So far that seems to have solved the issue. I will know more next week.
