Hello all! I am looking to hire someone for some vMix programming work or at least point me in the right direction! I am currently working on a live stream project for a company in the automotive industry. Check out what I have so far here: [ https://www.youtube.com/live/oRaaU5ch7lg?si=tOKKT6YAWzFz4Lvs]. Currently, all the feeds are SRT streams being pulled into vMix at my studio. It’s still a work in progress, but I see a lot of potential, especially with scaling the amount of cameras and shops along with getting the mobile setups going(via Larix Broadcaster app). One thing I really would like to figure out is preventing the stream from cutting to empty shop bays. My idea is to use motion sensors in each bay, so if no movement is detected for a set amount of time, that camera feed in the playlist would be skipped. Can this be done with scripting or other high level automations? If anyone is interested or you know someone who can do something like this please let me know! Thanks!

There are many angles to tacklle something like this or to consider. Can vMix say read a motionsensor? yes with the right interface (arduino even) but your vMix system is at another location you say but you already have videofeeds that can be used Are you going to use mobile phones (using larix)? might be better to look for another option like Mevo start cameras or so (can send srt and ndi). Can vMix check motion? no but obs can (advanced scene switcher) and can then instruct vmix after you added some logic (macros) to it. with multiple srt streams might look into srtminiserverto make your live easier handling them Now only have to find logic to determine which feeds to show based on motiondetected (Past tense) or not etc ;-)
