Hi, trying to set up a stream with HEVC encoding. The laptop has GTX1650 which should be capable of HEVC encoding.
I get 2 error messages -
"[hevc_nvenc @ 0000021a41b844c0] B frames as references are not supported"
"[hevc_nvenc @ 0000021a41b844c0] No capable devices found"

Does anyone know what is going wrong here?

Hello. Based on nvdia specs https://developer.nvidia...e-gpu-support-matrix-new 1650 mobile gpu doesnt support B-Frames. So not be able to stream in a type that requires B-Frames.

Ah ... I looked at that table but I did not see that there was more of it if I scrolled to the right.

Can VMix stream HEVC without using b-frames? It appears to be an option in FFMPEG but I can't see how you would configure it in VMix.

Nope , but one can use ffmpeg to encode a vMix external with b frames tweak and stream it

If its worth it is another question
