Hi all. Apologise if this has already been answered, could not find a relevant topic.

Let me explain my basic setup.

VMIX 4k, so replay on 1 camera. We use ATEM Mini. We stream as normal via the Output channel.

But we also have a 2nd output going to a big screen in the venue, and this is set up as 'Input 2' and input 2 is fullscreen to the bigscreen, so we can switch inputs into Output 2 via Shortcuts (Activeinput into Mix 2). All that works fine

I can send a live feed from the ATEM to the Big Screen when I am playing adverts or something on the main live stream - all that works fine.

But we have a situation where we want to do a replay on the big screen only, but not on the main stream. Am i right in thinking any replay would be sent to OUTPUT (and therefore livestream)?

Is there a way to get a replay to just go on the Input 2 (Big Screen)?

Hello. Im not familiar with instant replay as im not need it for my shows. But i see that if we do a mix input we can send to it the channel A or B (or both as pgm/pvw) and then assign this mix input as fullscreen out 1 or 2 the viewers of the fullscreen out tv device,will see the replay result without being this on livestream air

That is correct ( if you are using "play events")

Livestream, depends on what input/output you use

Export events to separate video files on the fly, or use the recordings straight away in your favourite video editor in MP4 or AVI format.

There are two Shortcut variants to be aware of:
(a) ReplayPlayEvent (plays Event in Replay Input)
(b) ReplayPlayEventToOutput (plays Event to main vMix Program Output with Stinger if set-up for that)
