If I move my media to another drive (letter) I have to locate all media one by one, a tedious operation.
An option to change the relative path would work a treat - BlackMagics Fusion does this, its a game changer when there is tons of media.
I realise saving bundles is one way to do this, but when developing my VMix presets I usually save as a bundle when I am 95% there. Prior to that I am saving many versions of developing Preset.
Eg. If I have all my media stored in C:/MainFolder/Subfolder/LowerFolder/Media1/ and there is all my media folders under this ie Graphics, Titles, Movie Clips, Audio Clips etc.
If I move the Media1 folder to say D:/NewFolder/AnotherFolder/, a master relative alias path to re-point to new location would redirect VMix to look in new path - Can do a Save bundle from this point also if need be.
If above is not an option, then a maybe more dynamic 'locate' media that searches subfolder (Say from Media1 down) and finds the rest of the images. Adobe After Effects/Premiere and Resolume all do this, it's really efficient.
Or if that's not possible, then at least the ability to select more than one clip at a time to locate, sometimes I am using the same image in multiple clips, and have to locate the same image many times :( bit cumbersome.
If there is already a way to do this then I stand corrected/
Note, love VMix heaps, it's been a game changer for me!!

This would be really convenient when changing workstations.
To overcome this, on my side, all my files point to a folder tree that starts from a drive letter (example R:) using the subst command

Just open the vmix file in an editor and search and replace. Really easy.

No worries. Sometimes life isn't too complicated. Another reason why vMix is the best.
