Our vMix PC specs:
CPU: i7 9700K 8 core
Ram: 32 GB DDR4 2666 MHz
GPU:GTX 1060 w/6GB of DDR5, 1280 cuda cores
HDMI PCI Capture Card, Magewell 4 ports
HDMI PCI Capture Card, Avermedia 1 port
PS: Seasonic 850 W
SSD: 500GB M.2
HD: WD Black 2TB
CPU Cooling: Water Cooler
OS: Win 10 Pro 64bit
vMix output:
Display port via GPU to 34" monitor for vMix
VGA via motherboard to powered 1x2 VGA splitter, to 2 each 55" monitors
BMD Decklink PCI Mini Monitor SDI to BMD Mini Converter (SDI in to HDMI out and SDI out)
SDI out to 65" monitor in another building. HDMI out to splitter, then to two 50" monitors.
Misc USB output: One to Yamaha TF1 sound board (via Focusrite), other misc to mouse, keyboard, Streamdeck, etc
Livestream from vMix to 2 platforms (Rumble and Restream. Restream goes to Facebook and YouTube)
vMix Input:
3 each PTZ cameras, HDMI into Magewell Port #1, 2, 3
1 each Laptop HDMI from stage to Magewell Port #4
1 each MacMini HDMI to Avermedia Port #1
1 each PTZ camera, POE into network via vMix NDI
Note: all 4 PTZ cameras have ethernet cables to powered network switch for joystick control
Not using the motherboard's VGA ports
and not using NDI should help
First, replace the motherboard with an MSI Meg Z390 Ace
and Add a BMD Duo 2
And some SDI/HDMI converters
i7-9700k CPU = 16 PCIe lanes (blue)
Distributed across the MSI Meg Z390 Ace's PCIe slots in x8/x4/x4 (GPU/ Magewell Pro Quad Hdmi / Bmd Duo 2)
PCIe 1 = GPU multiple Vmix monitors (with fullscreen 1 & 2)
PCIe 2 = Magewell Pro Quad HDMI for the 4 PTZ cams inputs
PCIe 3 = BMD Duo 2 = 2 x sdi inputs for laptop and Mac mini + 2 x sdi external outputs for the 50", 55", and 65" monitors
Z390 chipset = DMI 3.0 x4 (green) = M2 SSD + LAN + USB Ports

msi z390 + 4 in hdmi + 2 in sdi + 2 out sdi - 2 converters.png
(524kb) downloaded 10 time(s).If the PTZ cameras have SDI output, remove the two HDMI/SDI converters and swap two PTZ cameras with the laptop and Mac mini
Magewell Pro Quad HDMI = 2 x PTZ cams + laptop + Mac mini
BMD Duo 2 = 2 x PTZ cams + 2 external outputs

msi z390 + 4 in hdmi + 2 in sdi + 2 out sdi.png

if that's still not enough, upgrade GPU for RTX Ampère/Ada or RTX 3xxx/4xxx
