So this might be a dumb question I am asking, but I am in terrible need and can not find an easy answer...
All I need to do is copy an inoput to a new input...
For instance I have an edited gt title.. All I did was add the image to it and change the headline text.. I need to do this for 20 inputs to use a title for 20+ to be ontroduced to the video...
there has got to be an easier way then I figured out, which is very very cumbersome and can only be done before the live show starts...
open the first title I need to copy, then save the preset, then open the saved preset file and search it for the input that matches the title I want to duplicate, copy the entire xml inputtage and duplicate it as many times as I need it to be in the preset, then save the preset file and then reopen it in vmix..
So to be precise:
1) open vmix 2) add input 3) select the title 4) edit the title 5 save the preset 6) open the preset in notepad 7) find the <input>....</input> and copy it 8) paste it as many times as you need it in the preset 9) save the preset file and close notepad 10 reopen the preset in vmix and make the changes to each title...
but there has got to be an easier way for this...

but there has got to be an easier way for this... There is an AddInput function that you could use as shortcut (press 20 times) or let a script do it 20 times in a loop. SImilarly one could create virtual inputs (Function CreateVirtualINput) of the original one and edit each's content Also have a preset with just those 20 titles and append it to you currently loaded preset Question: wonder why you can not change the content of the one (1) title with datasource and change where needed? you use 20 titles displayed at the same time?
