Shortcut/API to play audio file

I am using APIs to run shortcuts for me. I want an API to play an audio file that is input 100. I haven’t figured out how to make it work.
Am I on the right track here…?
I added an audio input.
I clicked Audio for the input 100 to enable the input audio.
I created a shortcut for input 100, but I’m not sure what the function should be. It can’t be cut or fade, etc because input 100 is audio only and I don’t want to change what’s on the screen.
I thought maybe it should be an overlay. So I enabled overlay 4 for input 100.
If I click the play button for input 100, it plays just fine. I tried every function related to Overlay4 and all of the audio functions. I pointed them to input 100. None of them played the audio in input 100.
Can someone please tell me how to make a shortcut to play an audio input so I give the command to my API?
Thanks for taking the time to read this. I look forward to your replies.

The function to play an input is... "Play". :) Depending on what you are trying to achieve, you can also add "Restart" first to your shortcut, so to make sure the input starts from the beginning.
