I currently have a PC with this configuration for 1080p25 projects:
MB Gigabyte Z370 HD3 CPU Intel i7-8700K RAM 32GB DDR4 (2x16) GPU EVGA GTX 1060 6GB SSD SATA 500GB for O.S. (Windows 10) CAPTURE CARD Decklink Duo 2
I would like to add a second Decklink Duo 2 to have 8 SDI inputs in total. With the current configuration the PCI-EX lines are not enough for me. What motherboard and processor can I use to make everything work?

Hi, you just need to change the MB the problem is the MB except the pciex16 for GPU, everything else depends on the chipset in dmi 3.0 x4 so between the capture cards (pcie 2.0 x4) and the ssd (pcie 3.0 x4 + sata 6 + lan + usb) it will get stuck at some point and vmix advises to use cpu managed pcie slots for capture cards Screenshot_3.thumb.png.02755b6cb6b9e31f77a11fd5699b5630.png (64kb) downloaded 2 time(s).you have to take a motherboard with 3 slots managed by the cpu like MSI MEG z390 Ace with 16 cpu lanes in x8/x4/x4 (GPU/BMD Duo 1/BMD Duo 2) msi meg z790 ace block diagram.png (522kb) downloaded 0 time(s).and add a second ssd m2 pcie 3.0x4 for rec pay attention to the combinations of ports used msi z90 ssd-sata_page-0001.jpg (294kb) downloaded 0 time(s).bonus : later GPU upgrade if the power supply allows it, and show must go on
