Hi, I pressed "Record" in vMix, and it starts recording, I see video in vMix, and I see the audio meters moving up and down, and a "recording" window pops up and says it is recording audio, but I play it back and there is no audio! just the video....what happened? If I open Zoom app and press "External" in vMix, I can record with great audio to Zoom cloud. It just won't record audio in "Record" mode.

What are your recording settings within vMix?

Not sure what vendor did. They said the new audio mixer now routes to Zoom application directly??? not through vMix. So "Record" won't work in vMix with audio just video. Weird! I have them coming back to resolve this issue. Crazy to take a feature away from a customer! They basically said you have to use Zoom app to get any audio recorded using Zoom record in application!

Look at the bugs being reported about Zoom and Audio for the vMix 27 beta. In that version if you have audio Buses C or later defined then the zoom audio is lost so it may be you have stumbled on the bug that was found there (and fixed, but that doesn't fix vMix 26).
