You can use a shortcut to set SelectCategory = Search, with the search string being whatever was last typed in.

Is there a way to set the search string via shortcut?

(Custom categories handle some of this, but each input can only be assigned to a single category. But one can add text to Virtual Inputs. For instance
V1: podium #scene1 #scene3
V2: table #scene2
V3: backwall #scene3

then searching for "#scene3" shows V1 and V2, etc.

Thanks.

If I could, via shortcut, get to the point where Ctl-V would work, that would be fine. I can't activate the search input string box (for ctl-v or anything) via function/shortcut.
