Hi

Sorry this might be simple but which shortcut turns off "REC" in a delay recording

If any can help.

Tried "StopRecording" shortcut but get "Recording has not been configured" so I guess that refers to the "Recording Setup"

Thanks
Ash

@ Ash

Not sure I understand...
The video delay only records to disc when you "Save", otherwise, there is no "recording" per se, just a delay buffer (afaik).

Hi

The red "REC" button in image below. If it is pressed it stops the buffering to the disk.

Ash attached the following image(s):

I don't think there is a 'shortcut' for that... (yet!)
But it would certainly add some creative possibilities, especially if the playback could also be controlled with a jog wheel.
As it stands, you are pretty much limited to using the mouse for any kind of "replay" manipulation.
The disadvantage, of course, is that you lose any concurrent moments you may want to 'review' while the 'buffer' is not in 'REC' mode.

Ice,
Until the new Instant Replay is released, one work around on missing the concurrent moments is to also have a video delay set for your "ouput".

So if you have 2 cameras, you would add the video delay for camera 1 and camera 2, but also for the vMix Ouput. Then if you stop the buffer on Camera 1 and it is the live camera, you are still capturing camera 1 via vMix Output.

Well that's disappointing. I would have liked to be able to control this with shortcuts.

Thanks for clarifying.

Cheers
Ash

@ Ash

I'm guessing it's possible since a mouse click activates and de-activates it.
It is just a matter of putting it in as a feature request...
