Hello,
is there a way to get the Stream status (Disconnected, Successful, Starting, Intermittent) outside of vMix?
I tried it with Bitfocus Companion, but it only outputs true or false...
For example we want to trigger a external light to make it more visible if something is wrong with the Stream.
Is there a helpful documentation which i haven´t found?
Thanks in advance!

Thanks in advance! I have found that this is a feature we are lacking. I know just what you mean, when the internet throughput slows down, vMix simply drops frames and carries on for ever. The result is a poor show for viewers and on contacting vMix, they confirmed there is no way, other than watching the streaming logs. Out of frustration, I started modifications to our routing management software so that each streaming log is monitored for real-time buffering. From that, when detected, the options for each stream are to stop and start it, stop and do nothing, stop and start a different stream ( eg a lower speed that you have set up in advance ). Still testing, but we are getting close to a working solution. Following is a screenshot. It would have been good if vMix could work on this area of resilience and stability.
