I had a power failure during a live stream resulting in a very very large mp4 file that could not be played.

I found https://restore.media, somewhere deep in a discussion on this forum (so thank you to to you!).

The way it works is that you upload the damaged recording and a sample file at the same settings to their site.

They then do a scan of the file and generate a preview for you to check. If you are happy with the preview - you pay and download. $41 for a 90minute file was 'cheap at the price'.

The file was full quality with audio in sync.

Tried a bunch of other solutions which cost a lot more (and which did not work).

Restore.Media actually has a vMix 'profile' - which is why I think it works.

Going to take the rest of the day off to recover from the stress of having 'lost' that file.

Hope this helps someone...
