Hi All,

The designer for an upcoming event designed a canvas where 2 player cameras should be in the scene next to each other with a diagonal line in between.

I have created a Luma key file for each camera and created a virtual input from each camera and applied the luma key onto the camera.
Luma Key: Luma Key Left Template Image

What I now notice is that I am unable to move the camera left to get my player central in the cutout. I tried to create an extra virtual input where I first move the left player 50% left and the right player 50% right and I created a new virtual input from those moved feeds applying the luma key to that but that ends up giving the same result as creating my initial virtual input + move the base canvas + apply luma key and is not what I want.

I want the luma key image linked above with in the white piece one player centered and in the black piece another player centered.

Original Feed
Original Feed + Luma Key Applied
Virtual Feed Moved 50% Left
Luma Key applied on new virtual input created from previous virtual input

is there any way I can easily do this?

Use virtual set with UV maps
or
Use Mix input and mask that one

in both cases one can position the "person" to fit ,reposition the mask and easier to switch sources

For cases like this I make the mask be 3/4 +1/4 wide so that after I slide cam 1 left it ends up looking like a 1/2 + 1/2

Thanks after making this post I also played around with this and that worked indeed. Thanks for the advice.

I would still like to learn more on virtual sets and uv maps, any good guide anywhere ? Mix input also looks interesting for some other items I might encounter.
