Using autofocus with Canon EOS 70D

I have my Canon EOS 70D connected through a video capture card. Everything looks good except you can still see the autofocus lines. If I switch to manual focus the lines go away but I would like to use the AF mode.
Has anyone found a way to remove the AF lines in AF mode for a Canon EOS 70D?
Thank you!

What you're looking for is known as a "clean feed". It's really common for DSLRs to not have that mode especially if they weren't intended for live video. Here's some discussion about your model and clean feed: https://www.dpreview.com/forums/thread/4538735

Only way to get a clean feed from a Canon DSLR is to use the Magic Lantern firmware. (https://magiclantern.fm/) This will void your warranty. If you use the Canon Webcam app you can get a clean feed into a Windows computer as a virtual webcam. However, the resulting video is something less than 720p30. In particular, the frame rate is not full-rate. The stream exposed via the USB port is really just the feed to the viewfinder repurposed.
