For the life of me I cannot get certain shortcuts to work in vMix.
Specifically, the options under the input windows like Close, Quick Play, Cut, Loop. and the Pause/Play button.
I have tried both keyboard shortcuts and Stream Deck shortcuts. I don't have problems with other shortcuts like sending inputs to outputs etc, just these ones that exist under the input preview windows.
I really want a shortcut for the Play/Pause button to work.
What am I doing wrong?

I wish to pause a camera input before transitioning to another input. Pressing the pause symbol on the input with a mouse works fine but trying to use a shortcut such as:

Settings\shortcuts\general
Key/Control = Space
Function = Pause
Input= 1 HP HD Camera
It makes no difference if "Assign Shortcut to Input Number" box is ticked or not.
