Hi everyone, I'm trying to make a call with vmix, but i'm having some difficulty managing the audio of both. The caller audio is good and clean for me, but he hears an annoying doubling of his voice. About me, I'm using headphones and microphone and I hear a little echo of my voice, not very marked, but I was wondering if it was possible to eliminate it Thanks.

which audio bus are you sending back to your caller?
on which audio bus are you receiving your caller?
where does the audio signal the caller is supposed to hear come from?

Thank you for your answer, actually I supposed I had to enable some buses but in this case I tought wasn't necessary. I need to record a video call, with an exernal host and me, using internal webcam and mic. How I need to set audio buses to avoid echo for both?

I would set up the following Audio Busses A - Recording B - Return Bus for the callers C - Listen Bus for your Headset (optional)
Call 1 AudioSource - B Playout Bus - A, B, C(optional)
vMix doesn´t send back incoming call audio to its own bus
Headset Playout Bus A,B Listen Bus A (so you will hear yourself due to recording monitoring) Listen Bus C (you won´t hear yourself, lacking complete recording monitoring)
If you use (M,A,B) you don´t have the possibility to only hear the callers, cause when your headset is defined as "Headset" in audio output settings you will always hear M over your headset

Thank you, you have been very kind and exhaustive, above all for that: Quote:If you use (M,A,B) you don´t have the possibility to only hear the callers, cause when your headset is defined as "Headset" in audio output settings you will always hear M over your headset Now all is clear

Before they added the additional buses, I used it for a virtual cable. After they added the additional buses, I set it to "None" and put my headphones on Bus C. You can set your headphones to which ever output bus you want--you can even set them to multiple buses so all the audio flows to your headphones if you want.

Of course not I usually work with all busses active D,E,F,G via Dante to Sound desk, to be able to treat up to 4 Callers, as seperate audio channels in the desk, like each one having his own mic and most of the time work around M Bus and having B,C As caller talk back and caller chat if required A for my Headset
