Vmix don't start without ethernet connection

Hello we use Vmix 4K in a remote studio, mainly with SDI output with a blackmagic card and wired internet connection on a desktop computer. I have noticed that i'm not able to start vmix if ethernet cable is unplugged. The splash screen hangs forever and it never starts.
I have a copy running on my notebook which behave differently.
Does anybody have an idea what could be wrong?
I have also tried to disable check for updates on startup.

It's because of license check.
Sofware must to check if the license is valid or not, and that's not possible to do without inet connection.

Thanks for your reply, but i have to disagree with you: i can run it on my laptop with no internet connection, so should be something different

I think you have connect at least once when installing, and also if major changes in hardware cause vMix to validate again.
Ask vMix support.
