Thanks Open the audio settings for the input, go to the matrix and select all channels.

Thanks. I recorded a test and with it set to all I can hear audio on both sides.
Does setting to "all" create dual-channel mono? What does "seperate mono" do?
From the guide:
Select the audio channel to use for this input.
If you have a Microphone plugged into the left channel or right channel independently. Select SeparateMono here.
Separate mono allows you to adjust the volume of both mono channels independently from the Audio Mixer.
The audio from each microphone will be audible on both the left and right channels simultaneously.

As the userguide says. Seperate mono is the input. One mic on left another on right. You get seperate faders for both.
