So I plan on upgrading my computer this summer. Right now I have a Mac Book Pro and am using bootcamp so I'm able to use Vmix. I plan on purchasing the new mini Mac M1's and have found out that bootcamp is not available this computer. They do have something similar called Rosetta 2 which still allows the Mac to run Window's apps. With that said was wondering if anyone knows if the Vmix software can work after installing the rosetta 2 software on the mac's with the M1 chip. TIA

I've seen several posts with people running it succesfully. But you will basically run with a huge waste of resources, so don't expect good performance.

As far as VMix being compatible, I doubt the VMix team has tested it extensively, if at all, so I wouldn't run it on a critical show or without a backup.

Thanks for your input Vince, yeah sounds like I should stay away from the M1's if I want to run Vmix!!
