Trying to use VST3 plugins for first time. Placed them in Program/Common Files/VST 3 When adding a plugin to a source the plugins are in the drop down list, but when selected I get the error message: "Couldn't configure plugin"
So, what do I do now?

Hi,
VST3 plugins come with an installer so they are installed correctly. If you copied some files manually chances are it is actually a VST1 or VST3 plugin and not supported.

There was no installer. Just zip file that extracts to include folder and files for plugin. How do I install these then?

Got other plugins to work. Problem solved. Thanks. I copy the plugin into Program/Common Files/VST3
