I bought my son an EVOO gaming laptop with the following specs:
i7-9750H Processor
Nvidia GTX 1650 Graphics
256 GB SSD
16 GB RAM
Win 10 Home

I have connected our Canon XA11 to the laptop using a Mirabox Capture Card (USB 3.0 HDMI). Once I add the Mirabox as a Camera input there is a 2 Second delay. In other words, what you see on the camera viewfinder doesn't show up in vMix for 2 seconds. The camera and vMix are both set to 29.97P

I have a Surface book with the same camera and capture card but with no problems and no delay.

Does anyone have any suggestions on how to remove the delay.
