We still have a couple that are sitting on the shelf and I keep seeing the unit show up in the forum with iusues.

We have a couple of Obsidian systems with an RTX Titan and they work beautifully with the Scarletts, never seen a dropout, but somehow the UMC404HD always shows dropouts every few minutes
(and they are audible).

What system if you don't mind me asking. And not dropped samples?

The HD unit not just the UMC404?

What chipsets are your machines running? There is a known issue with x99 boards. See here - Intel X99 Chipset Issues and Discussion

Here is what I did on my C612 system which is based on x99.
