Is it possible to assign a shortcut key to enable/disable the web controller?

For a church service, I have lyrics, scripture, etc in a PowerPoint and capturing it as NDI input. I wrote a VBA routine for PowerPoint to sent web API commands to turn the PowerPoint NDI overlays on and off at particular slides.

I would like to assign a shortcut key as a “kill switch” for the web controller in case things go haywire, it’s quick to take over manual control. Any ideas?

Would it not make more sense to build that into your routine ?

If you say its quick to take over manually why not deactivate the web controller manually ?
