Hi all, my first post was a success, I solved my issue with a kinda-PITA solution, but a solution though.
Now I present you my scenario and question:
I have 12+ audio sources I don't know the word in English, but they're like short audio promos of my livestream and effects.
Currently I'm using all of them as INPUTS (a waste IMO) and I call them using shortcuts.
I want to know if I can use the PLAYLIST feature and assign keys to each promo and not having to add all of them and clutter the sources/input window
as I said I come from OBS where sources/inputs were unlimited and I just have the $60 version, I'm still on my 60-day trial though.
Any help or advise is greatly appreciated.

You can put all your videos/audio sources into a "List". Then use the "SelectIndex" command in the shortcut key and enter the item line number in the "Value" field.

Thanks for your reply, this fora rules!, now I've changed D1 key for testing to selectIndex 1, it selects the item I can see that on the Playlist but it doesn't play it, so would I need to add anotehr key to actually play the input?, wouldn't that add more complexity or is there a way to select+play input?. Regards.

Create another shortcut to "Play" using the same D1 key.

Yes you can add separate button to play the selected item. That's probably what most folks do. If you want to select and play the item, you could also create a "Play" shortcut and add it to each key that selects the item. This is done by selecting the "Advanced" tab when you create the shortcuts and add the additional "Play" shortcut key. If you want to select, play and cut direct to the item, you could also add the "Cut Direct" shortcut to each key. Hey there, thanks again for your reply, I did as suggested, works great but how do i control that whenever a vidoe on the playlists ends it transitions back to another input, say my talking head cam?. Sources stop fine but it stays on black and nothing happens, I'm thinking of a trigger but how do you add triggsrs to specific playlist items?. Many thanks I'm on a roll here and getting set for my second vMix livestream tomorrow. Cheers
