However, it's not currently possible to use activators to show which transition effect is selected. I'm proposing activator that would trigger if Cut/Merge/Fade etc. is chosen as Transition1-4.

Can you explain how to envision that please? There are 20 possible transitions (V24) that can be triggered with your x-keys and they last initially 500ms

Still not clear as to the actual purpose as it would be much easier to just define shortcuts/buttons to do the transition you would want

If you assign shortcuts "set transition effect" to different buttons with different kind of transitions and if you can't assign the activators, you don't know which transitioin is active in that moment. +1 to the request.

This is how the effect for the AUTO button is adjusted on my controller, as on professional consoles. 2020-11-09 00-35-34.JPG (428kb) downloaded 2 time(s).
