We'll be using SRT to capture these artists and bring them into vMix. Using the JVC HC550 as an example, we can add an NTP server into that camera. If we have multiple cameras all looking at the same NTP server, then we'd love to be able to sync these inputs coming into vMix. This will also help for eSports events too. Adding in PTP support would be great for the future, but right now, NTP sync is the ask :)

Does any other manufacturer offer this feature and if so, is there an industry standard with which the TC is embedded as SEI? From JVC: Quote: Connected CAM camcorders are equipped with the NTP clock which can be synchronized with NTP servers, e.g. time.google.com. When this option is selected, the TC is switched to UTC and embedded in the SEI of the H.264 stream. Each decoder, synced to the same NTP server, reads the TC, buffers streams, and outputs in sync, with the specified time offset, e.g. "UTC + 1.5 sec". Edit: It appears they are using VITC. You can use SRT Mini Server (3rd party product) and then create special NDI inputs in vMix to take advantage of the feature. It would be great if vMix supported this as native feature as PTZ Optics also has it available in their new firmware.

Even their sister company streamstar is using NTP for sync. Now SRT miniserver uses ntp for sync too. Even Makito decoders are using NTP for sync.
