I'm having the same issue with Windows Defender blocking and deleting vMix64.exe. It is updated to the latest version (security intelligence update version 1.329.829.0).
I tried to update from vMix 24.0.0.39 at first but it immediately deleted the vMIx64.exe file. Then I downloaded vMix 24.0.0.40 from the forum and re-installed it. I was then able to load vMix for about 30 second before it crashed and the vMix64.exe file was deleted..
Never seen this before...

2 hours later, Windows Defender has now updated to another version (security intelligence update version 1.329.836.0).
I can confirm that vMix64 is now running correctly after a clean install under this new security update..

Although I could work fine yesterday, today Windows Defender detected vMix64.exe (v24.0.0.40) as a threat and put it in quarantine. Here's a screencap (in french sorry)  vmix64-defender.jpg (105kb) downloaded 5 time(s).Simply had to restore and it now works but Defender latest update will certainly cause issues with many people.

Exactly the same thing happened to me today after an update from Defender. Couldn't start vMix anymore. After recovery, vMix will work again. Defender version is : 1.329.847.0

Edit:
Rolled back too 23.0.0.66
Will run at this edition for a week and then try 24 Preview again (used 24 since october)
Testing with a lot of inputs (150) and loading GPU for maximum work.
Works fine so far with 23.0.066
I have rolled back two times now today and stay at 24.0.0.37
Finaly could get it to work but then truble with inputs not being transparent and som other Titles that not could load, so until further notis I don´t upgrade the 24 version.
Stay with 24.0.0.37

To be honest, sounds like your computer is faulty somehow as the symptoms you describe are for features that have not been changed at all in the latest update.
