Hi, we attempted to record a video for our church service and received the following error:

StartRecording1
Access is denied. (Exception from HRESULT: 0x80070005 (E_ACCESSDENIED)).

We looked it up online and found that a 3rd party application like Avast could be the culprit. Problem is, we don't have Avast.
Looking for suggestions on how to resolve as this is an important part of our ministry. Thanks!

This can happen when you are trying to record to a location you do not have rights for-

Try either changing the location to the desktop or you can try running vmix as an administrator.
