Hello

I am using HD Basic. I can't record more than 3 minutes of video. Using two cameras with Firewire
outputs. Computer i5 WITH Win7 PRO. Every time I attempt to record everything stops after 3 Min 30 Sec every time. No error meassage given and everything is frozen Must use device manager to end task. Just purchased and is the new version 10.

I would appreciate any help I can get

Ozene

Hi Martin

Thanks for coming to help.

Let me explain-used vMix for 3 days. I tried to help myself before you responded.
I somehow set up my computer for optimum performance as opposed to having best appearance.
Next in the Setup menu for vMIX before recording I changed my settings from 1280x720 to 1024x576.

I played back a soccer game and a Ice Hockey game and was was able to record for 2hrs. 20 min
up from 3 mins 30sec.

The video quality was decent but sound didn't switch in sync with the video. In other words,
when I switched the soccer video I heard sound from the soccer game and when I switched to
the Ice Hockey game I hear sound from the the soccer game. The sound eventually matched
up with the right game if I stayed with one camera for a lenght of time.

I need to gain control of the sound now so I have the sound input I want in good quality

I guess I was trying to record video at to higher quality for my hardware.
I am just using a HP Elitebook 8460 Win7 i5 which has an Intel HD Graphics 3000 card.

I am feeling much better now because I am at entry level learning now but I want to upgrade and
put the software to serious use.

So if you have two cameraS being input using firewire into a laptop,do you know how you can
select which audio that gets recorded that would help at this point

Hope that wasn't to much to say.
I appreciate your trying to help me. I am just pushing bottons and trying learn vMIX as
fast as I can to find work using it.

Thanks for coming.
Ozene
