As many other forums have tried to solve but with no definitive answer on some machines (all I tried) there is no way to connect to a camera but only for vmix
Google meet works fine, at it gets the little icon in the corner of the browser field that the popup tells you to look for when you connect to a vmix session.
However in the vmix page it does not, even when you manually go in and change the site settings to allow camera and microphone.
I have tested latest
chrome, firefox, edge on a windows 10 pc
chrome, safari on iphone 7-9 latest os
the only one I managed to connect to was an old sony android, and only if I turned off the popup blocker
We have paid for this solution just so we can use the mobile cameras as inputs, however we feel like complete fools right now haha and there is not a solid answer in any forum I found that address the issue in any way that worked for us.
Please help us out here =)

Hello, I haven't fully understood the problem. Do you want to integrate a camera into vMix or use a camera with vMix Call or do something completely different with it?

Simply use any device including a pc to connect to a vmix call.
All devices I tried when entered the vmix call page in a browser promts the same cant access camera popup.
It says that in order to get access to camera click the camera icon in the browser field, there are none! in other browser based apps or pages like google meet, zoom etc it works flawless on all devices.
Even when manually allowed the vmix call page to access camera, through site settings and explicitly add the page, vmix page still claims that it cannot access it.
I have also deleted all cookies and local cache and tried again same result.
So canera works and can be accessed on all other softwares but not vmix, so something is not right 😉

Use the beta vmix call should give you a direct selection of available devices without the Workaround. Feel free to try beta.vmixcall.com
