Years ago I had a similar error on two similar computers.
I tried to fix it by updating .net v2.0.50727 and replacing the mscorwks.dll file with a new one but it didn't work.
A reinstallation of Windows 10 was done on both computers without installing that version of .net and they work without problems.

Hi,

Best to drop us an email so we can investigate further.
All our systems are running .NET 2.0.50727.9151 without issue, so this may be caused by something else.

Regards,

Martin

In all the cases we have seen it is caused by faulty hardware or a corrupt windows installation.
If a reinstall of Windows does not solve the problem you will need to look at the hardware.
Could me memory, motherboard, cpu, graphics card or power supply.

In some cases updating the bios on the motherboard may help.

Check the Windows system and application event logs for other failing apps or driver errors.

Martin

hello, today we had the same error and you have answered me from support.

The problem is that we cannot make a diagnosis to know what hardware has failed?

Is there a tool that can give you a clue that something is wrong? especially to prevent the problem from happening in a live show.

Hello! I’ve had this issue happen on two separate systems in the past, within the last 6 months though!

One was intel based and another AMD based but they had the same error, it was unpredictable!

I saw somewhere else on the forums about it possibly been related to web control but I’m not sure, I’ve had my web controller disabled and haven’t had any crashes since but it is very random so I don’t know.

Seems very odd that both machines which I’ve had less than 12 months would both have hardware issues or windows installs, they were both fresh installs!

Would love to get any further detail on this matter, I’m always on edge incase of a sudden CTD.
