I wish the input windows on multiview could be named or numbered, sort of like an overlay, that could be turned on or off, as the user wishes...this would be a great asset...it would help in a case where the director could just call the take he or she wants, the same way it is on the main window... This would be a great advantage where the user prefer not to use the colour bars on the top, and use Black as I do .....We name our inputs as 'CAM 1, CAM 2' etc, and we name our clip windows, except when we use a 'List' where each clip in our list has its own Name....It is like duplicating the naming of the main screen....so, a director can just call the the takes from the 'multiview' screen, without having to look to the main screen for the name of the inputs

If you click the cog wheel on the input (bottom right corner) you can under "General" change the name of the input (ie the multi view input).
Note, perhaps a bug, but you need to close the input settings window after you have changed the name BEFORE you click Multiview to set that multiview options. And of course, the name can be changed after you have set the multiview options.

+1 Sounds like a useful feature. Ah, NOW you see what I was saying.....I would prefer the multiview to have the same name as the main window...As it is now, I can only see the inputs, but I do not know which is Cam 1, Cam 2, player, or replay....That is the issue I have with the multiview....... By The Way, 'Multiview' is only in full screen...what is on the inputs is 'Overlays'

This is what I am thinking of.....having the same name on the multiview as on the main window.....the same way it is done for the Audio Mixer.....
