Hi

I'm using vMix to capture 2 relatively high end IP cameras to create one stream. While looking at the comers' viewer (an http page) or VLC, the video is fluid.
However, When I open the stream in the vMix, the picture becomes strobe, in the Input as well as in the Preview or Program. It happens on 1920X1080, 25fps and 1280X720, 25fps.
I tried 50p, 25i, 50p and even 60p, 30i. The picture still strobe.

Thanks
Boaz

A couple of things you can check:

1. Make sure the latest version of vMix is installed (12.0.0.129)

2. What settings have you selected when adding the stream to vMix? Try increasing the buffer size.

3. The frame rate in vMix Settings should be 50i/25p to match the 25p in the camera settingsa.

4. Click the statistics button and provide a screenshot:

Hi Martin

The version is 12.0.0.129
The buffer for the MP4 stream is 300 ms. I've tried to increased it to 600ms, but is was the same.
Frame rate is 50i/25p
How do I add here the stat. screenshot?

Thanks
Boaz

For a screenshot all you do is click print screen at the top right corner of the keyboard. Then paste it in a new photoshop document...then crop it to the right size... or you can paste it in PAINT if you don't have photoshop. Save the file as jpg and post. If you're on a mac I'm not sure.
