I watched all the tutorials on the GT Title Designer. Generally a very solid platform. There was some mention of external titles only being supported on Pro/4K. I didn't see anything in the user interface for that.
I did try to bring in a title that was built in AfterEffects and rendered in ProRes 4444 with Alpha. If I bring it in as a video input with the 'alpha' channel box checked, it doesn't seem to work.
What codecs does VMix support in terms of alpha channel for external titles and/or video clips?
Thanks, Jan

Try .mov with an alpha channel.
GT Title designer will import .psd files, image files but not video.

I'm currently facing the same issue, i have a whole bunch of overlays that are rendered in proses 4444+alpha but these files put a considerable strain on the machine. I tried convertering them to DXV + alpha, but that codec doesnt seem to play with nice with vMix. Does anyone have any tips on how to produce low cpu animated overlays with alpha?

Any progress on this topic?
It's been two years and I'm having issues bringing in videos with industry standard codecs that include an alpha channel into vMix.
