Hi,

I will be getting Multiple Audio Tracks (3 in total) in my SDI feed and wanted to record these in the ProRes format for further editing. Does vMix support multiple audio track recording? Any ideas?

Regards,
Joel

We have the same problem, unfortunately VMIX does not support more than 2 Audio Tracks, please support the feature request for this.

That's not correct in this situation. vMix supports all input sources that have multiple channels of audio within a single "stream" or "track".

1. For SDI inputs, as long as it is Magewell, Blackmagic or AJA, add the camera input and select "EmbeddedAllChannels" as the audio to bring them all in.
2. Next, setup the number of additional buses needed in Settings -> Audio Outputs.
3. Use the Channel Matrix in the Audio Settings of the SDI input to route to the buses as desired.
4. Enable the buses on the SDI input so they are green.
5. When recording to ProRes, select the audio buses to record from the dropdown, such as MAB for 6 channels of audio from Master, Bus A and Bus B.
