Version = vMix Basic HD - 12.0.0.111 x64
Running under win 8.0 native boot on macbook air mid 2012
8GB ram and (now I have freed up) 6GB disk space.

I am streaming to youtube.
Slowly the available space on C drive is reducing.

Yesterday when I had less free space to start with it ended up with zero free space on C and then hung. When I rebooted I was back to my previous few hundred meg of free space. I then experimented and while vMix was running the disk space would reduce. Stopping vmix and restarting it returned the free space.

These are the free space readings at 1 min intervals today.

6 731 280 384
6 719 549 440
6 707 359 744

Streaming to youtube. 1280x720
1500kb/s
on a 100MB/s NBN connection.
1 video input from a Pinacle dazzle composite to USB device. The input in vMix is set to widescreen.
Audio is from Tascam US-122

as an aside, if I stream using Adobe Flash Media encoder then I get no disk usage but I do get crackles in the audio. I do not think Adobe is getting the right number of bits from the tascam.

Hi,

First make sure you are using the latest version of vMix downloadable from the web site.
There have been a few updates since .111

Second, from the Streaming window in vMix look under the Advanced tab to make sure you aren't saving
the stream as well.

Regards,

Martin
