I have just loaded any file that is a video with audio. I put it into an input and play it. I see there is audio from the volume in the meters. I have streamed out and the audio works well. I just cannot hear any audio in my headphones. I need to send audio out of my laptop to the headphone jack. I can play any audio in any program other than VMIX thru this port. I also cannot hear any audio in vmix in headphones. I also have checked with the headphones and volume is up but no sound. In fact i can hear any notices that i have on windows, but no sound from vmix. I need to send audio out from the show to the HDMI on the external screen and also need to send audio out via the headphone jack. Can anyone please help me?

@ genegreenwood

Have you run the vMix Diagnostics app?
Hamburger menu ===> vMix Diagnostics ===> Scan

No background Graphics Card applications detected.
The following applications may still interfere with vMix, but should not impact the graphics performance:

UMPDC.dll: (C:\Windows\System32\UMPDC.dll)
AWSoundCenter: (C:\Program Files\Alienware\AWSoundCenter\UserInterface\x64\AWSoundCenterDevProps.dll)
AWSoundCenter: (C:\Program Files\Alienware\AWSoundCenter\UserInterface\x64\AWSoundCenterOSD.dll)
NVIDIA GeForce Experience: (C:\Windows\system32\nvspcap64.dll)

What have you selected in the vMix Audio Output settings? I once had problems with the headphone jack (Realtek Audio Speakers), had to de-activate Realtek Audio in the device manager, activate it again, and only then was able to select it in the Audio Output settings. Otherwise it was only possible to select "Realtek Digital Output" (SPDIF) in vMix.

@ genegreenwood

You should probably uninstall AWSoundCenter.
It looks to be similar to ASUS's SonicSuite and MSI's Nahimic which are known to cause these types of issues with vMix.

It is also recommended to uninstall GeForce Experience.

I have recently experienced same problem,
All I did was go to the PC's sound, disable the current playback selection and enable it again. It worked for me.
