Did I Miss a Step? Youtube Live Chat empty on replay

Hi Folks, we are moving our live show from fb to youtube this week. We ran a test on 01/03 with our audience.
Live Chat replay IS and WAS enabled on our channel....but it did not save...so now just looks empty on the replay.
Did I miss a step in the vmix or youtube creation of the live stream?
From everything I read...saving the chat replay is automatic and I cannot figure out why none of the interaction is visible now.

Hmm. Interesting. Your comment made me check my last YouTube livestream and guess what? No comments in chat... until... I played the video for a bit and the comments started to appear in sync with the video. Could that be happening to you?

perhaps a YouTube glitch if you click on an account in the comments section it shows their previous comments so could be to do with how they're logging that and then get fixed in the few days
