New Features:
Video Delay - Delayed version of the output that can be played back in slow motion (slow motion can be selected from right click menu)
Title Editor - Four presets included in this beta, 20 or more will be added to the final release (text can be edited from right click menu)
MultiCorder - Record multiple capture inputs simultaneously, this feature will expire 1 November 2011 after which a HD Pro license will be required.
MultiView - Combine 1 or 2 inputs in a variety of arrangements such as Split Screen and PIP
Languages - Spanish, Portuguese, Korean and Traditional Chinese included in this version from Google Translate. Accuracy will not be 100%.
Custom Keyboard Shortcuts

Fixes and Changes:
Only DirectSound devices are selectable in settings as other devices are not compatible with multiple sound sources under Windows 7
Fixed issue with External Output and DeckLink devices freezing
Improved recording performance
vMix Virtual Capture issue with Expression Encoder fixed
DesktopCapture will retry every 5 seconds if connection is lost
Fixed fade bar showing incorrect frames under certain circumstances
Fixed scrolling issue on input list, where it would automatically scroll to the most recently selected input
Video inputs can have a customisable audio delay set from the mixer

Hi Martin,
I suggest that the "multiview" has option to choose the audio overlay.
Example: add two video inputs and an input color. Color on the entry I created a "multiview" of the two video inputs, but is no audio. So I have to manually choose the audio. Just not good. Then I cut the "multiview" to the other input mixing the audio.

CONGRATULATIONS. . . Good work once more.
My comments but poorly translated are:
1 - Copy and Paste titles are blurry, not very clear.

2 - The multi-view does not appear in the external monitor or recording to hard disk just below the Preview small small screens.

3 - Video capture always the same, [1] and [2] PIP
if I place a logo or other title one more extra background
disappears one or another capture, almost equal to multi view
but it would be easier: [1] * [2] * [3] * [4] easier and more accurate
I think it is too much to ask Martin

FELICITACIONES . . . Buen trabajo una ves mas .
Mis comentarios aunque mal traducidos son :
1- Los titulos Copia y Pega , se ve borroso , no muy claro .

2- El multi view no sale en el monitor externo o Grabacion al DISCO DURO ; solo en el Preview de abajo pantallitas pequeñas .

3- Video capturas siempre lo mismo ; [1] y [2] pip
si quiero colocar un titulo un logo u otro fondo extra mas
se desaparece uno u otra captura , casi igual a multi view
pero mas facil seria : [1] * [2]* [3] * [4] mas facil y exacto
creo que no es mucho pedir Martin

Already working on automatically mixing audio of Multi View sources.

Elchapin,

1. The titles are built in full HD, they will appear clear if you have a HD monitor and have set the output resolution to 1080.

2 and 3: Sorry, could you clarify what you mean?

I need about putting more than 2 video inputs at the same time. (PIP)
Multiview 4 type PIP.
There are only 2 [1] and [2] to select.
but it proved necessary over 2 to 4 to make PIP
to taste.
We need to place several in the same time.
example:
1 - Background video.
2 - Church Logo
3 - copy and paste Titles
4 - Mov alpha channel or flash
All the same time.
currently running, if I put plus 2 others disappear, not the desired goal.

Necesito sobre poner mas de 2 entradas de video en el mismo tiempo . ( PIP )
Tipo Multiview 4 PIP .
SOLO hay 2 [1] y [2] para seleccionar .
pero es nesesario mas de 2 , hasta 4 para hacer PIP
a el gusto .
Necesitamos colocar varias en el mismo tiempo .
Ejemplo :
1- Fondo video .
2- Logo de Iglesia
3- Titulos copia y pegar
4- Mov alfa canal o flash
Todo mismo tiempo .
en funciones actuales , si coloco mas 2 se desaparecen los demas , no es el objetivo deseado .

La traduccion parece no ser correcta o mi explicacion
le pedire de favor a un muchacho me tradusca aqui ;

Hi Martin,
I liked the "multiview". It can be combined with the overlay to display 4 inputs at once. The "video delay" is interesting. You can create a stop button "buffering" so I can hold and release the replay when I want?

Hi Martin,

Congratulations on the improvements in newer versions of Vmix. MultiCorder The function is already working? Tested, but did not record anything.
You can change the speed of the scrolling text that is in the template "title"?

For the 4 overlays in multiview
can you use a button for evrey function that is on display
like dha 1 and 2 that is already available ( For the 4 overlays )
with out entering (i) to the option multiview
i think its easier to have PIP
using a button for every view for every video capture or capture
right now how the software is really good like you cant ask for more
this saterday i am going to try it with 4 camras
everything is god now were just waitn when the second version BETA 12.2

hi martin,

i had a problem here with adding vidblaster virtual capture to vmix. i already sended the error report, something like "invalid call... d3d..."

hope it can be fixed.

That capture device is not supported by vMix due to using an old video format that is not supported by Direct3D.

Im really impresses with the feature list of the new vMix and will do some tests and tryouts in the following days. The video delay and title feature is very promising.

I have one question regarding the workflow of using titles in the following situation:
1. two video inputs (camcorders)
2. each video input has 6 titles (each camcorder is facing 6 different people), 12 titles in total
At this point I have prepared two video inputs, 12 title inputs and to change the shot I have to:
1. activate cam1
2. find the right subtitle
3. press 1 on subtitle so that it is activated as overlay
4. to change to cam2, I have to remember to turn off Overlay 1 on the old subtitle
Basically, I would be very happy to find a way to have 6 shots with cam1 and respective subtitles, and 6 shots with cam2 and respective subtitles, to eliminate some of steps noted before. Any way I can do that? Possibility to choose cam1 as underlay for subtitle shot would solve this problem :)

Also pelase consider making the capture and output screen sizes adjustable to deal with cases with 60 subtitle shots.
Also I would be interested to design my own subtitles, but I guess that is already possible in C:\Program Files\vMix2012\titles folder?

Hi Dundurs,

The new MultiView feature can display as many two input combinations as you like.
The default MultiView setting is just a normal overlay so you can add a Colour Input for every title and use the MultiView to assign it a camera and a title.

Editing of titles is possible for those familiar with XAML and .NET, otherwise many different designs will be included in the final release.

Yeah, I just found this option. The only thing - to prepare 60 subtitles this way, I would have to use 120 slots :) But I can deal with that.

Sorry to insist again. I have edited and created by other titles, increasing the existing ones by default in the "title". Title is an example of "scrolling" you put in the 2012 version - that I want to talk. Entering this Xaml file by notepad found a parameter "hh: mm: ss" which changes the speed of the text. Is to create a button to touch this parameter?

I have been trying to mix videos in vMix, however none of the formats seem to be stable enough to use this feature in production environment. At this point I have tried mixing different mpeg2 video files with the parameters shown below.
Audio: MPEG Audio 48000Hz stereo 128kbps [Mpeg-1]
Video: MPEG2 Video 544x480 (4:3) 25.00fps [Video]

After playing this video in loop for some time, the video freezes, FPS drops to 5.

There is an issue with the EVR option when looping that is currently being fixed, in the meantime I recommend using the VMR9 renderer.
