For consistency you could apply audio compressor at a gentle 3:1 ratio with a threshold around -20 to -30.

I have never had any luck with the compressor, it always misses a little from the beginning, so it is very loud for a second but after that, level is fine. I believe it could work if the files are mastered kinda same, but one of my clients sends me -23 LUFS (TV) and 0 dB (Web) clips, which is a quite headache. +1

Hmm.. I see quick resolve is to write VB.Net script for vMix scripting. It's gonna be endless loop which acquire vMix XML, parse it, gets list index and set Lis volume to desired value, as described in some .txt file. It is a challenge for me.

There is a gain function for the whole list input, so all it needs to do is automatically change that value behind the scenes as you select each VT clip in the list.

I am forced to use the "Playlist" function that cannot be unpinned, and isn't as userfriendly.
