When you call... http://127.0.0.1:8088/API/?Function=ActiveInput&Input=2 It doesn't fire the trigger (OnTransitionIn) for that input. I'm unfortunately running some software that has a hard coded vmix call to ActiveInput so I can't use a cut or anything else. I've gone back a few versions and it seems that ActivInput has never fired any triggers which seems to be a bit of an oversight. Toby

Seems to make sense as it doesnt do a transition or overlayin as such in order to trigger
That said as you are bound by the hard coded API call maybe you can check the state of that input (api xml) with a script and go from there for what you intent to do ? just a thought

It's even the same if you use active input through other devices as midi controllers etc. Active input does NOT trigger anything. This is how it should work.

Hi,
This is correct, as ActiveInput does not go through any "transition" process at all, it won't trigger anything. There is a CutDirect shortcut that is designed for what you want to do, that does call triggers, but it sounds like if the developer of the program you are using can't change to that then there is nothing you can do unfortunately.
