In our Sanctuary we have 5-cameras and 2-computers as inputs to vMix and we have 2-projectors and 1-flat screen as outputs (in addition to the vMix computer dual monitors and internet stream {active display}). I am able to mix inputs and outputs, allowing me to send different inputs to each output. When using overlays they only appear over the active vMix display. I would like to be able to overlay a non-active output. Specifically, I need to overlay a clock onto one of the projectors for our speakers, without interfering with whatever input is being sent to the projector, and without it showing up on the active vMix display or any of the other outputs. I have exhausted trying to do this with shortcut commands and was wondering if this can be accomplished through scripting, or if it is even possible. A little help please. . .

@ RickDPWV

I would suggest creating a Virtual Copy of each Input you want a non-visible to Program overlay on (right click its cog wheel) and use the Input Multiview of that new Input to overlay your clock or graphic onto, then send that Input to your desired Output 2,3 or 4. (the Input itself never has to go LIVE because it's a copy of the real one).

What version of vMix do you have? This is easy in 4K and Pro. See Ice's comment above. You can also use the Fullscreen mode for this.

@RickDWV,

I searched this forum for "clock fullscreen" and found for example https://forums.vmix.com/...al-time-on-output-screen
